Replacement Parts Policy

At Thompson & Timber, every mailbox post is built to be repaired, not replaced. If a piece of your post is ever damaged, worn, or lost, you can order just that piece instead of buying a whole new unit.

What You Can Order as a Replacement

• Cedar post legs
  
• Mounting hardware and screws, including the black corrosion-resistant screws installed along both edges of the post to help resist water buildup
  
• Solar mailbox lights and other add-ons

How to Request a Replacement Piece

Reach out through our Contact page with your original order number and a short description (or photo) of the piece you need. We will confirm availability, pricing, and shipping time before sending anything out.

Screws and Hardware

To increase durability and help the post withstand water buildup, our posts are installed with black screws along both edges of the post. If any screws are missing, stripped, or need replacing, they can be requested as a replacement piece at no cost to you within the first year of ownership.

Fit and Compatibility

Replacement pieces are matched to your original order whenever possible. If your post or mailbox is an older or discontinued style, let us know in your request and we will find the closest compatible match.
